“Soaked in Bleach” is the docudrama retelling of Tom Grant’s investigation into the disappearance (and ultimately the suspicious death) of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
Grant was hired by Courtney Love in 1994 to track down her missing husband just days before his death. He’s become famous for his eventual investigation into Cobain’s death and his belief that it was likely not suicide, but rather the result of foul play. The movie weaves together dramatic re-creations and interviews with experts and witnesses and examination of artifacts from the case.
A viewing of the film and Q&A with Grant, will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at Fulton 55, followed by a Nirvana tribute show with Wintercoat, Dead, Incoming Rush and more.
