grizzlycityboysBefore Fashawn became a world-traveler, before he was inducted into the XXL Freshman class or he caught the eye of Nas, he ran with the Grizzly City Boys.

Still does, apparently.

The group (Fash + Fresno MC’s Otis Reed, Halo and Omar Aura) is releasing a seven-song EP titled “Grizzly City USA,” Oct. 6, with a special release party Thursday, Oct. 1 (you’ll have to check to emcees social media find out where).

The project was produced by the local hip-hop powerhouse Jukebawks (seriously, he’s done a TON of really cool projects).

The crew just dropped its first track “Early 2000s,” on which the boys getting nostalgic about the period when they first started rapping and the stuff that made them fall in love with the hip-hop culture.
