Good Company Players opens the musical “Shenandoah” tonight at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater. I write a little about the premise of the show in Friday’s 7 section:
Written in 1974, the musical is based on the 1965 film about a family in Virginia that hopes not to get involved in the war. The production ran for more than 1,000 performances on Broadway, garnering acclaim for John Cullum, who played Charlie Anderson, the patriarch of the family.
Bee photographer Silvia Flores has a great photo gallery of the show attached to the online version of the story with 17 photos you don’t want to miss.
