The marketing team of at the Fresno Grizzlies continues its season of being unapologetically Fresno by taking the ultimate branding risk.
The team is changing its name. For one game at least.
The Grizzlies have been teasing the announcement for a few days, but now it is official (well, this official, anyway).
The Grizzlies will become the Fresno Tacos on Aug. 6 in conjunction with its annual Taco Truck Throwdown. The team will have snazzy new jerseys and everything.
The super hard-core fans can get in the game by picking up a Fresno Tacos hat at the team’s online store.
Is this another home-run (pun intended) for The Grizzlies? At least one guy thinks this is the best uniform in the history of minor league ball.
Perhaps the greatest uniform in the history of minor league baseball. @UniWatch @PhilHecken @Uniformswag https://t.co/w6elcEMRgE

I don’t think this is a great idea.
Because??????
Dreams really do come true!
The Grizzlies are really working hard for promotions this year. So cool to see all the awesome taco food trucks battle it out for the best taco while the team reps them on the field.
This is so damn funny! Cheers to the marketing genius behind the idea. Makes me want to go on Aug 6th.
